We are proud to announce the three winners of the ‘249 Choreographic Failures’

‘249 Choreographic Failures’ is this years theme for ‘ChoreoLab – Made in Ulm’. It is inspired by Berblinger 2020. The international open call received 45 applications (17 male and 28 female) from 24 countries. Inspired by Berblinger 2020, dance makers from around the world submitted a 60 second dance film reflecting a ‘choreographic failure’. On the 19th of May 2020 the Jury of Karla Nierad, Reiner Feistel, Tommi Brem and Michael Mutschler selected 10 finalists and three winners. Each finalist was rewarded 100 euros. The selected three winners are Aina Lanas, Pablo Girolami, Axel Loubette. They will work with Ulm based choreographer Pablo Sansalvador, each will create a 15 minute work for evening titled ‚249 Choreographic Failures’. There will be four free open rehearsals to the public on the 24.07, 31.07, 07.08 and 14.08 at 17-18hr (spacing is limited). There will be three performances on the 21, 22, 23 August at 19hrs at ROXY. The selected finalist are Axel Loubette, Aina Lanas, Pablo Girolami, Sofia Nappi, Marie Haußdörfer, Philipp Raiß, Jana Jacuka, Emma Schild, Katharina Ludwig, Zara Sands.
