Performance 24th and 25th of August 2019
20:00 h @ Labor ROXY, Ulm, Germany.
„ChoreoLab – Made in Ulm“ is an exciting new platform – an Artist in Residence Program – that invites international, up-and-coming and talented young choreographers to Ulm to create and perform a piece inspired by Ulm’s cultural-historical background.
The choreographers Kyra Green and Max Levy were selected from more than 50 applications by the initiators Pablo Sansalvador (former ballet ensemble member at the Theater Ulm), Steffi Bichweiler and Michael Mutschler (ROXY) with the support of the ballet director of the Ulm Theater, Reiner Feistel. Pablo Sansalvador will also be a choreographer. The choreographers will produce three short works on Einstein’s famous equation E = mc2.
The „ChoreoLab – Made in Ulm“ wants to further strengthen the dance in Ulm and to carry out the work produced here. The Choreo Lab is also intended to stimulate the discourse between creators and viewers.
During the rehearsal period, we open the doors of the lab every Friday afternoon and invite the public to get a glimpse into the work of choreographers and dancers. Constructive feedback is desired.
